1ST QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL 2025

The Local Government Unit of Sogod, led by Municipal Mayor Sheffered Lino S. Tan and represented by Vice Mayor Jose Ramil G. Golo, actively participated in the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2025 held in the morning of March 13, 2025, at Gaisano Capital Sogod.

The drill aimed to assess the readiness of Gaisano Capital personnel in managing customer and employee safety during an earthquake. Key agencies, including Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Sogod Emergency Response Team, PNP Sogod, BFP Sogod, RHU Sogod, AFP Charlie Co., 14th IB, Mahaplag, and others facilitated the exercise, providing essential guidance and insights. This initiative strengthens disaster preparedness and response efforts in the municipality.

Kudos to the Manager of Gaisano Capital Sogod, Mr. Joseph Alfabete for his commendable efforts in training and leading his personnel, resulting in a well-organized and thoroughly executed earthquake drill —an initiative worth replicating by other establishments in Sogod.
